| ALL EVENTS | | | Business Perspectives on Emissions Trading and Climate Policy | | November 30, 2005 | On Wednesday, November 30, at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City, Resources for the Future (RFF) and Clipore convene a special conference to enhance the understanding of participants from the European Union and the United States on recent developments in emissions trading and climate change policy on both sides of the Atlantic. It will facilitate an exchange of ideas on how companies are dealing with the uncertainty surrounding climate policy and how they can engage the policy process to lessen that uncertainty. Coinciding with the Conference/Member of the Parties (COP 11/MOP1) meetings in Montreal, the conference will include timely discussions on the European Trading System and various bills to be brought up during the next session of the U.S. Congress.
There is a $150 registration fee for the conference. For more information, please contact Virginia Kromm at 202-328-5000 or at events@rff.org. | | Event Type: Conference | | Related Topics: Climate, Energy, Policy and Analysis | | | Federal Policies to Reduce Federal Greenhouse Gas Emissions | | June 18, 2008 | | | Event Type: First Wednesday Seminar | | Related Topics: Climate, Policy and Analysis | | | How Much To Stabilize our Climate?: RFF First Wednesday Seminar | | January 16, 2008 | | Moderator: Billy Pizer, Senior Fellow, RFF
