Robert Fri has been active for over 30 years as both a leader and analyst of energy and environmental policy. As the first Deputy Administrator of both the Environmental Protection Agency and the Energy Research and Development Administration, he was instrumental in organizing the federal government’s programs in environmental regulation and energy technology. He served as president of Resources for the Future and of the National Museum of Natural History during major transitions in the role of these institutions.
