Steve Brown, who joined RFF in 2009 as its first visiting fellow, has conducted inquiries into domestic and international energy markets, energy security policies, climate policy, public finance, government performance, and regional economic growth. Prior to joining RFF, Brown had 27-year career at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, where he retired as director of energy economics and microeconomic policy analysis. In addition to being a visiting fellow at RFF, Brown is a professor of economics at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
