WASHINGTON—Today Resources for the Future (RFF) released its first annual digital-only issue of Resources magazine on its new mobile app, available on the iPad, iPhone, and Android. The new digital issue is an extra, available only to app subscribers and can be accessed through the Apple Newsstand or at www.rff.org/resourcesapp.
The app version of Resources magazine features clickable buttons and links that connect readers with special event videos, podcast interviews, and access to further content on the RFF website.
The 2013 digital issue includes the following highlights:
- An analysis by RFF Research Director Margaret Walls and Research Assistant Anne Riddle of how three different federal policies match up in protecting biodiversity and ecosystem services on private land;
- A podcast interview with RFF Associate Research Director Juha Siikamäki on how protecting coastal mangroves can prevent carbon dioxide emissions from entering the air; and
- A commentary by Director of RFF’s Center for Energy Economics and Policy Alan Krupnick on how President Obama’s new plan to address climate change will impact the natural gas industry.
