Climate Adaptation

Climate AdaptationTo date, little research has addressed climate adaptation policy, perhaps assuming that households and businesses may be able to easily adapt if climate change occurs gradually. However, scientific evidence shows climate change may be extreme and unpredictable. Currently, the United States is not prepared to manage the impacts of such changes.

CCEP has undertaken a two-pronged approach to adaptation policy research. We have a significant body of work focused exclusively on U.S. adaptation policies, as well as our Global Adaptation Atlas that brings together data to aid the development of international adaptation strategies.
