There is a tremendous need to understand the protection and restoration of ecosystem goods and services. What works? What is most important? How do we pull it off institutionally? The answers require greater interaction between the biophysical sciences and the policy process.
Our panelists were chosen because they produce ecological analysis or require it in order to fulfill their policy missions (or both). This event invited discussion of how to get more and better ecology into the hands of federal decisionmakers. |
