On May 22, 2013, Resources for the Future hosted a discussion with Yves-Francois Blanchet. Yves-François Blanchet, a native of Drummondville, was appointed Minister of Sustainable Development, Environment, Wildlife and Parks on December 4, 2012. He has an innate interest in environmental matters and experience as president of two consecutive Earth Day celebrations in Quebec. Minister Blanchet is particularly interested in the growth of a green economy in Quebec.
