Consortium Launch

(RFF), J. Glenn Morris (UMD), Catherine
E. Woteki (Iowa State), and Michael P. Doyle (UGA)
provide an overview of the FSRC's goals, operating principles and research agenda, and a
briefing on the Consortium's initial project, which is the development of a model to
compare and rank the relative public health impact of specific pathogen-food
combinations. The project is funded by The
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF). Pamela Russo, M.D., a senior program officer
at RWJF, also participates.
