Katalin Springel is a postdoctoral fellow at Resources for the Future in Washington, DC. Her research studies industrial organization with a particular emphasis on topics pertaining to energy and the environment. She holds a PhD in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MA ineconomics from Central European University. In August 2018, she will join the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University as an assistant professor.
