Communities Alliance (ECA)
Washington, D.C. ECA is an
organization of local governments that host or are significantly impacted by Department of
Energy weapons production or national laboratory facilities. ECA fosters communication
among local governments, as well as with DOE, through semi-annual conferences,
peer-exchanges, and advocating local government interests. It publishes a monthly bulletin
and sponsors an email announcement list regarding DOE issues.

monitoring DOE.

ICMA is a professional and educational organization
representing appointed managers and administrators in local governments. It conducts
research, educational programs, and outreach regarding local government management.
Federal Facility Communities Network
A joint project with the Energy Communities Alliance to assist
communities with economic transition from the downsizing of
Departments of Energy and Defense facilities by fostering peer
exchanges and information transfer.
