Michael Wolosin is a visiting fellow at Resources for the Future. He also directs research and policy work on reducing emissions from global deforestation for Climate Advisers, a strategic consulting firm specializing in U.S. climate change policy, international climate change cooperation, global carbon markets, and climate-related forest conservation.
  
Wolosin also serves as the program director for the bipartisan Commission on Climate and Tropical Forests. He previously led the Nature Conservancy's efforts to strengthen U.S. policies to conserve tropical forests, bringing the organization's on-the-ground experiences around the world to bear on the U.S. policy process through new, multi-stakeholder coalitions and direct outreach.
