For over 50 years, Resources for the Future has been the one organization that people turn to for "un-spun" analyses and practical policy recommendations on vital environmental, energy, and natural resource issues. Growing demands on natural and financial resources and the environmental challenges they present are creating an unprecedented demand for RFF's research--and an equal challenge in securing the funding needed to carry out those studies.
RFF's success is made possible by the financial support of individuals and organizations that have the vision to see the role research plays in formulating sound public policies. Over 70% of the money we raise from individuals, corporations, private foundations, and government agencies goes directly to our research and public education activities.
We invite you to become a donor to RFF and join in our efforts to improve environmental policymaking worldwide. There are a number of ways to contribute: by making a gift to our Annual Fund or one of our endowed designated funds; by joining one of our principal membership groups, the RFF President's Circle or the RFF Council; by establishing an RFF Gift Fund; by joining the Legacy Society, or by Endowing Research for generations to come.
Annual Fund contributions can be made through outright tax-deductible gifts of cash or appreciated securities. Gifts of stock can provide much-needed support for RFF while offering financial benefits to the donor. All Annual Fund donors receive complimentary copies of our quarterly magazine, Resources; invitations to events; and updates on current RFF research. Individuals who contribute $100 or more are also acknowledged in our Annual Report.
