Cole Martin joined RFF in 2019 as a staff writer and reporter for RFF’s Resources magazine and the Common Resources blog. Previously, Cole has researched for Nathaniel Rich, a contributing environmental writer to the New York Times, written about academic life and research for the University of Chicago's News website, and led his college op-ed section. Most recently, he was a Fellow at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where he focused on medical research, health policy, and communications. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Cole loves playing tennis, mindlessly scrolling through Twitter, and keeping abreast on the latest developments in the New York Times' Modern Love section.
