Luis Fernandez Intriago is a macroeconomist at Resources for the Future specializing in environmental policy and labor markets, and his current research lies at the intersection of these two. He uses CGE models to examine the effects on the labor market of implementing environmental policies. In his current work, he is assessing the impacts of implementing a per unit of energy use carbon tax in the US, taking into account heterogeneous workers and potential human capital losses.
