Sarah Tung joined RFF in 2018 as a marketing specialist on the communications team. She manages social media and email outreach for newsletters and events, in addition to working on a variety of projects related to RFF’s marketing and events needs. Tung previously worked at Duke University as the communications specialist in the Department of Economics, where she gained a deep appreciation for the ways in which economic research can help leaders better understand the socioeconomic costs and benefits of their decisions. She also was editor and publications coordinator at World Perspectives, Inc., a DC-based agricultural consulting firm. Like a true Southern Californian, Tung loves the sun, beach, and drought-tolerant landscaping. She spends most of her free time coming up with punny names for home-brewed kombucha, experimenting in the kitchen, and outdoors with her dog, Taco.
