Sep 19, 2017

WASHINGTON—Resources for the Future (RFF) announced today that it is accepting applications for research grants—for $100,000—to quantify the value of using Earth observations for improving decisions about human health, air quality, water resources, and more.

This grant—the first Molly K. Macauley Award for Research Innovation and Advanced Analytics for Policy—honors RFF’s late Vice President for Research. Dr. Macauley was a pioneer in her field who helped decisionmakers understand the economics of space.

First-round proposals for the Macauley Award are due by 5 p.m. EST on December 5, 2017. Application details can be found at www.rff.org/macauleyaward.

Resources for the Future does not take institutional positions. Please attribute any findings to the authors or the research itself. For example, use "According to research from RFF …" rather than "According to RFF …".
