WASHINGTON—Today marks the beginning of a series of occasional blog posts on a host of subjects by Peter Nelson, Director of Communications at Resources for the Future (RFF). Peter’s experience in energy and environmental issues goes back to early work on a startup known then—and now—as Greenwire, and also for The Hotline. His posts will take unique and common-sense views of important issues, many addressed by RFF research.

The first installment is How Should We Adapt to a Changing Climate? In it, he specifically reacts to a memorable and recent quote by Craig Fugate, former director of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA): "It ain't about climate change anymore, it's about climate adaptation."
