RFF Welcomes New Fellow, Casey J. Wichman

WASHINGTON—Resources for the Future (RFF) has named Casey J. Wichman to be its newest Fellow. He officially will join the Washington-based energy, environmental, and natural resources think tank on July 15, 2015.

RFF Vice President for Research and Senior Fellow Molly K. Macauley said, "Casey Wichman's academic training is an excellent fit for our organization. He brings important skills for understanding emerging environmental policy challenges in several vital areas, such as agriculture and water resources."

Wichman joins RFF from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he will receive his PhD in agricultural and resource economics in May. His research interests include examining how individuals make decisions in response to environmental policies.

Wichman earned his undergraduate degree from Ithaca College (economics), and holds master's degrees from both North Carolina State University (economics) and the University of Maryland (agricultural and resource economics). He has served as a visiting research scholar in the Department of Economics at Duke University.
