"The Dec. 10 Business article 'A U.S. energy plan straight from coal country' presented an exhaustive account of the politics driving the Trump administration’s and some coal companies’ (such as Murray Energy) coal-policy agenda. That agenda has, disingenuously and almost exclusively, focused on the Appalachian coal-mining region — depicted by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and President Trump as the victim of a Democratic 'war on coal.'"
