The energy and environmental think tank Resources for the Future is elevating a senior staffer to become its next president and CEO, the organization’s board of directors announced Thursday...

He’ll take the helm of the organization from Richard Newell, who started in 2016 and announced in September that he planned to exit. Newell will stick around temporarily as a senior adviser to the new CEO, the group said.
