"Connecticut is one of just three states that uses 100 percent taxpayer funding to pay for state park costs, according to a 2013 study by an independent think tank called Resources for the Future. Most other states use a combination of user fees (such as parking and campground fees), taxpayer money and dedicated park tax funds to sustain their parks."
