Isis Salmerón
Senior Director of Finance and Accounting
Isis Salmerón is the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting at Resources for the Future (RFF). She leads the organization’s finance and accounting operations, including financial planning, budgeting, reporting, investments, and compliance, and serves as a strategic partner to RFF’s leadership and Board of Directors.
Before joining RFF, Isis served as Chief Financial Officer at the Latino Economic Development Center (LEDC), a nonprofit community development financial institution, where she led finance and accounting operations for more than a decade. Her experience spans nonprofit finance, grants management, treasury and investments, lending operations, audit, strategic planning, and organizational leadership.
Isis is committed to building strong finance organizations that enable mission-driven institutions to achieve lasting impact. She earned a Master of Science in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and bachelor’s degrees in Finance and Business Administration.
She lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring local parks with her family, discovering new restaurants, and spending time outdoors.
