Workshop

What are the key concerns about our natural and built environments as the United States continues to buttress its homeland security? What are the challenges facing experts planning for preparedness, prevention, response, and recovery associated with terrorist attacks? And, importantly, what is the role of the public in understanding and responding to these threats? Our distinguished panel will address policy and research issues in the case of atmospheric hazards, security and post-incident clean up of infrastructure and the environment, and the public role in preparedness and response.
