But the research could prove timely for congressional Democrats, who want to challenge the Trump administration's deregulatory agenda, said lead author Alan Krupnick, a senior fellow at RFF. 'They certainly could hold hearings on these regulatory rollback activities and on the executive orders that are guiding a lot of these effort — the emphasis on reducing the cost to industry without factoring in the cost in human health and environmental damages,' said Krupnick."
