For twenty years acid rain has been at the center of debate about clean air regulation and at the center of that has been the Adirondacks Park in New York State. But until now policy makers have never had an estimate of the economic value of improvements to the Park. RFF researchers report on the conclusion to a five-year study that sizable benefits would accrue from expected ecological improvements in the Park following further emission reductions.
