The Future of Biofuels Webinar Series
A webinar series exploring the biofuels industry in the United States including its scalability, ability to reduce emissions, distributional impacts, and more.
Series Overview
Biofuels, and advanced biofuels in particular, may offer emissions-reduction opportunities in hard-to-decarbonize sectors such as aviation, maritime shipping, and heavy-duty transport. However, there is considerable disagreement about both the environmental effects of biofuel production and how policy can be best designed to meet environmental and economic priorities. Through a series of webinars, Resources for the Future (RFF) is convening experts across sectors to discuss the climate impacts of biofuel production, where research is still needed, and how to design effective biofuel policies.
